The libraries buildings offer bright, open spaces with a wide range of facilities and study areas, designed and equipped to suit all learning styles. Our professional staff are here to help and answer your research queries, whether that’s in person at the Help Desk or via chat, email, phone, or Facebook. Plus, we are dedicated to training all UOB students to develop academic and information literacy competencies.

New to the Library?

 

What is my library account? 
Use your ID number to log into your Library Account on UOB Libraries Catalog. View the items you have borrowed and their return dates, renew or reserve items and check your loan history for the last 3 years. You can also access your course reserves. 


How do I find the books and articles I want?
As a first step, use Search All, the main search box at the Library homepage, to find books, e-books, online journal articles, UOB thesis and projects, and more. 


How do I get materials UOB libraries doesn't own?
Use our Document Delivery Service to request books and items at other UOB campuses and beyond.


How do I access the Library's online resources from off campus?
Access or download online resources in full text by logging in 
using your UOB email account (email and password). 


How do I get materials my instructor says are on "reserve"?
Access your library account to search for reserved materials by instructor or course code or click here. Electronic reserve items are accessible online. Print materials are located at the Circulation Desk. They can be borrowed for two hours only during the day or overnight.


How do I borrow library materials?
Once you retrieve the items you want to borrow from the stacks, head to the circulation desk and show your University Card to check-out the materials. Read more details on checking out materials here.


How do I print and make copies in the Library?

Multifunctional printers  allow UOB users to print and scan using an IBL account


How do I reserve a group study room?
Find here group study room locations and reserve a room online.
