Hawliyat is the official peer-reviewed journal of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at the University of Balamand. It publishes open access articles from the field of Humanities. The journal is published annually and it seeks to be a platform for scholarly debates on current research in the various fields of the Humanities. With this in mind, some issues are more general in outlook and others may focus on a specific theme dictated by current scholarly concerns.

We welcome submissions in English, French and Arabic from local and international scholars.
